Looks BEE-U-TEE-FUL. For the west coast girls, used to dry weather, how's the humidity in Minnesota?

That forcast does look nice!
Last year it was pretty hot and medium humidity. Like get out of your tent at 8am because you can't breathe cause the air is so hot and thick. I'd say between 85 and 95 the whole time, and it got pretty cold at night (we had a bunch of blankets and sweats on to sleep).
They have these awesome misting stations to walk under in the concert bowl where you can get fresh water too. The water is so nice and cold, it feels amazing!! And the water you get to drink is nice and clean/doesn't taste like anything.
I think its too early to tell what the weather will be like. I check two days before going.. because it changes so much in Minnesota. I think its going to be cooler out than last year though! It hasn't been that humid lately either.

So true! Plus, this is Minnesota weather anyway. I'm not gonna trust it until it's a day or two before...and maybe not even then. Don't know how many times rain was forecast this year, and it turned out sunny!

Gosh it is freezing here today in the Twin Cities but I like it just fine (60's). I did buy a tarp today though just as a precaution. But you know I have been to 10k all but one year and the only year it rained much (2005?) it rained lightly and early every morning (great for sleeping late), then the sun came out for the rest of the day and it was wonderful weather every day.
I think the Cali people are on the road already but wanted to comment on Minnesota humidity. I grew up in southern states so I don't consider Minnesota very humid comparatively. We do have a few days of stickiness though. I consider Minnesota, in general, humid only if you compare it to the desert. Our summers here are pretty much perfect as far as I'm concerned.

We hit the road later today. Looking forward to our trip rain or shine but have faith weather will be just fine! We won't melt! Bringing more pants and heavier clothes than original plan so I am ready for whatever comes the in the way of temp and precipitation!

I think the weather is going to end up being perfect. So far there's only a 30% chance of rain on Friday (which would maybe end up being a light shower at some point). Mid to upper 70s! It keeps getting better and better..

We're getting on the road in a couple of hours!!!! Thanks for all the weather info. I think ANYTHING will be better than the 100 degree temps we've been experiencing here in California. Yep...I live smack dab between LA and the desert. See you in a few days! Lots of love!!!! Heather 8)

Yeah, ponchos are key. Also, umbrellas! Rainboots and old shoes too.
I'm bringing a pair of crappy shoes, an umbrella, and a poncho.. don't forget extra socks!!
