I thought these maps might help you guys get familiarized with all the areas of 10klf. It might help you pick out the general area in your campground you want to be in. The first few maps are from WE Fest, but that's held at the same place. The Official Onsite Map is of Soo Pass Ranch (the general map) This map will tell you: - where all entrances are to the concert bowl as well as each campground - where the service roads are (fest workers on golf carts and stuff go on these and you get escorted across them) - where paths in the campgrounds are - the highways (and the pedestrian underpasses that take you to lake salle and viking/blue ox) - the showers and restrooms in each campground as well as the concert bowl Don't pay attention to anything else on the map like the medical location, employment, shuttles, or chaplain. You get a booklet with all the info you need and maps when you get your wristband. The other maps to look at are VIP, Lake Sallie, Northwoods, and Viking-Blue Ox. These will show you exactly where the wooded and open areas are in each campground and where people camp. You can zoom in and out on all of them.www.wefest.com/2009/maps.phpThese maps show you where everything at 10klf is located.Parking/campgrounds - www.10klftickets.com/10KLF_2009_Parking_Map.pdfConcert bowl/seating - www.10klftickets.com/10KLF_2009_Seating_Map.pdfVending map:

No problem! I have no idea why the 10klf site doesn't add these maps...

Those maps ARE awesome! I assume, for example, in the Lake Sallie area, all the tents are in the wooded area where you can't really see 'em, but there's still enough room/roadage to get a car there?

Yeah, pretty much! In Sallie, the people in tents camp back in the woods or in a couple spots with big groups along the lake.. otherwise as you can see the big open spots go to RVs. I plan on taking the 2nd path on the right into the woods and going all the way back. That way when I wake up in the morning, I'm under all the trees and not dying from being baked alive in a tent and I have a straight walk right to the showers!
I think maybe the people from this board (and the ants caravan if they want to join!) should take the back of the 1st or 2nd loop in the woods... we can have our own little avenue of everyone we know or whatever then and find all our tents easily.. make a big flag or sign too or something...

For the spots in Sallie that are all the way back in the woods, is there clearance to drive there?

Yeah, there is for cars. Everyone drives back in there and then parks by their tent.

how much room would you say you have around your vehicle to set up your tent and what not?

Plenty of room.. especially if you get there early. If its really packed maybe around 20ft.. I dunno? You'll have space for your car, tent, an ez-up if you want, chairs, a table, and your fire ring with enough room to move around and be comfy.

Wow! Thanks for the maps! It was great to get a closer look at the campground. So - is it also the case that those camping in tents in the VIP campground are also in the trees? I have VIP tix but will not be bringing an RV or trailer...tents for me! Thanks!

Yep! Pretty much the only ones who won't be in the trees and are in tents will be maybe on the shore of Lake Sallie or in Viking and Blue Ox. Unless you chose to not camp under trees.... haha!

This is by far the best camping situation for a fest this size. I have no problems with my big family tent. It was a good thing we had the option of our backpacking tents at Rothbury last year. This is wonderful and spread out, even when we got in later one year and had to have a smaller patch of grass we still had tons of room and shade.
