The night time is sweet. In the concert bowl, they have a band playing in the saloon until 3am. Field and barn have bands until 1:30am. Last year it went like this:
Wednesday: Dark Star Orchestra 11-1:30 at field The New Mastersounds 11:30-1:30 at barn Redux 12-2 in saloon
Thursday: Pfunk 11:30-1:30 at field EOTO 11:30-1:30 at barn The Hue 11:30-1 in saloon U-Melt 1:30-3 in saloon
Friday: Deep Banana Blackout 11:30-1:30 at field Secret Chiefs 3 11:30-1:30 at barn Kinetix 11:30-1 in saloon The Histronic 1:30-3 in saloon
Saturday: Lotus 11:30 -1:30 at field Cornmeal 11:30-1:30 at barn White Iron Band 11:30-1 in saloon God Johnson 1:30-3 in saloon
In the campgrounds - there's fires all night, huge drum circles/good acoustic music, crazy parties... fire dancers! Its so much fun. There's a lot of moving around too if you want.. people will come to your campsite and want you to come party at their's on the other side of the campground or in a whole different one all the time. It won't be hard to find something awesome to do.

Sounds awesome thanks!! I'm debating about buying an LED hula hoop before the trip for late nights, I always see them at fests and they are mesmerizing! This will be the first fest i've been to that allows actual fires, people keep them pretty safe I'm assuming? How close are neighbors at this fest? ive camped bonnaroo, summer camp and rothbury, is it similar?

You should get an LED hoop!! I'll want to try it out though, hehe! If you find some online, let me know where because the only one I have found is very expensive. The fires are safe, all in fire rings so you'll have nothing to worry about. Your neighbors are pretty close to you but you still have lots of room, plus you're going to have trees all around you too! I'd have to say its the best fest camping I've seen.

I'm excited for the fires I bet it makes a really cool atmosphere! The only website I'm familiar with for LED hoops is superhooper.org, they are expensive...but they offer a bunch of different options.

They had really cool fire shows in the concert bowl last year on Friday and Saturday night, I hope they have those again! The only LED hoop I found so far (I didn't look too hard) was $199! Oh yeah, do you like coffee peacenlove?? Last year in Northwoods and Lake Sallie, they gave out free samples and had these awesome coffee press mugs for sale and if you bought one, they give you all the free coffee grounds and hot water you want!! And the coffee is fair trade/organic too! www.equalexchange.coop

LED hoop does sound pretty cool! I was just kinda thinking to myself when you mentioned fires being close to your neighbors and what not, but what would you guys think about if enough of us from this forum met up in line set our tents up together, all pitched in for some wood and kinda had a community fire-pit in the middle or something.... i dont know just a thought......

^ Yeah, that's what I was thinking! In the thread where I ask everyone to fill out a form.. One of the questions is do you want to camp by other members in the forum in your campground. I was thinking we would meet up and get in line together and then go set up camp by eachother and have a big middle area to hang out in and whatnot.

Now I'm torn, I was going to do the ants caravan but if ppl from this board are meeting up, maybe I want to camp with you guys instead!! I'm sure we'll all be pretty close to each other either way. I may just have to change my mind....

I'd totally be up for camping next to ppl, the more the merrier plus I like being around ppl I can trust...we can look out for each other! I do like coffee....I always struggle with that at fests cause instant is so gross...i usually have to switch to redbull. So free coffee would be amazing! The LED's on superhooper are 175 for a slow change and 185 for fast change...so that's about the same with shipping and everything.

I opted not to be in the ants caravan because I figured there would be a lot of people on the board who aren't going to be in it and would want to camp by eachother. We probably will be pretty close to eachother, depending on when they get there and when we all do.
There will be 3 lists per campground (members who don't want to camp/get in line together, meet up to get in line together only, and meet up in line and camp together). Then there will be a list of people who want to meet up in the concert bowl with a meeting spot decided later. I'm putting up the lists shortly.
So let's say you're in VIP - you can check the list for the other members staying there that want to camp by members and meet up in line and then you guys can work out a time to meet up and where you want to camp and I will post the time/meet up place under VIP.
Hopefully that makes sense... I don't want to just publish the list I get when you guys fill out the form because I don't think its smart to post everyone's real name, phone number and where your from when anyone can read anything on this board. So like I said it will be only member names and then members can PM eachother for numbers and whatnot when it comes to that.

I figure, if we all know eachother from the board and camp together in each campground... we can all hang there whenever and someone will always be watching our stuff. I'm going to be bringing those Starbucks energy coffee drinks in cans for a coffee source too! At least on superhooper you can get one that only lights up for $100, haha. Maybe if I get good enough at it by then and have the extra cash, I'll get one of those.
