Yeah!! I would really like to learn tai chi.
I wish I knew how to teach yoga... That'd be cool to go do that 200 hour thing to get certified or whatever. Then go to festivals and do yoga sessions with everyone! I wonder if they'd let you.. you know, just have everyone sign a slip so you aren't liable for anything.

Look at the Forum Meet Up threads in On The Road for other members staying in your campground that you can meet up with! Feel free to have your name added to a list.

I have a question, as a first timer up there.. how easy or difficult is it to get a shady site at Sallie? I would LOVE to be near the lake, but I also want to camp in a shady spot. I am so torn. I called to get my pass, but ended up telling them i would call back, hehe. One of life's biggest decisions for sure! tee hee! The nice lady told me that Northwoods is a lot more shady, and that she likes it better there.. i don't know.....

It isn't that shady by the lake at Lake Sallie, although there are trees right by the shore.. It all depends on the spot you're at. Moslty RVs and stuff are by the lake where there's more open space. There's plenty of shady camping though! If you look at the map on the WE Fest site, you can see exactly where the shady spots in Sallie are. www.wefest.com/2009/maps.phpYou should check out the rest of the maps here: www.10klakesfestival.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=camping&thread=67Also, I don't know if this matters to you.. Lake Sallie is known to be the more chill campground and Northwoods is the place to go if you want to party all night.

I'm sooo torn!! By the time I decide, they will both be filled up, haha! The dilemna now is this: I have a friend who decided to join me, and she is more of a partier than I am, so she is really bent on going to Northwoods. I, on the other hand, LOVE camping near water and love to swim all day long, so I'd rather camp at Sallie. I am laughing as I write this because I feel as though I'm trying to make an epic decision, when really, it's not that big of a deal, hahaha. thanks so much for your input! I am just soooo excited! This may sound dumb, but about how many people attend this festival on average?

Haha, if this helps... there is a sweet stage in Lake Sallie that has bands playing from noon to 9 everyday!

I've decided we are staying in Northwoods. The deciding factor was that I heard you have to go through a tunnel to get to the grounds, and I sooooo hate walking tunnels.. I know, weird, eh?

Just bought my VIP tix today (thanks sprunkn7 ). I put it off way too long and wasn't paying attention to the fact that prices go up next week...thanks to the 10KLF board for that. Now I officially can't wait. My plan, in no particular order, relax by my campsite, crack a beer, check out the crew at Lake Sallie, watch Widespread. Rinse...repeat. So psyched.
