*laugh* You rock for making this topic. I've already been all girly about "OMG what am I gonna wear??" and picked up fabric to make a couple of skirts. And some stuff to make some random jewelry, too (I'm a big DIYer).
I'm not a big Dead fan, so I can't say either of those purses would be better than the other. But I LOVE those earrings! Very unique.

If I could sew..... I'd be making a million things right now! Haha! You'll have to post pics when you're done making skirts. This is what I normally bring to all the fests and shows I go to: www.satorioshkosh.com/catalog/images/tote_bag.jpgIt always rubs my shoulder and hurts when its super hot out though so I want a bag with a long strap. Its gotta be big cause I put a hoodie and water bottles in there and stuff. I started out looking for a cool patchwork one like this: www.soul-flower.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=BSD057&Category_Code=BAG&Product_Count=2. But then I found those other 2 bags and I want one! My boyfriend told me to get the one with the bears on it but I dunno... When I found those earrings I fell in love!! There are a lot of really sweet ones on that site.. they have some cool ones that look like you gauged your ears too.. I used to have mine (only a 10GA, haha) but took them out back when I turned 19.

The earrings are cute! I have these great nylon flowers that stick in the ground. They spin in the wind and have a light in the center so when it gets dark they light up. Last year I had three and I just got three more. We have a store called the Christmas Tree Shop chain on the East Coast and they have all these great inexpensive things. I have paper lanterns that we hang on the EZ - Up and in the tent. I love stuff like that!

That's awesome!! I want to find a bunch of cool stuff to decorate my camp site with... I'm going to bring a few tiki torches, a cool little tapestry to hang on a rope, maybe some solar x-mas lights.. I have to hit up some lawn & garden and dollar stores to find some cool stuff.

I'm getting some chinese lanterns, and I want to get LEDs to put in them, to make them glow in the dark. But I can't find any that do what I want....so I was thinking of making some LEDs with a light sensor on them....and then I was thinking I was nuts for doing that. But I think I will, anyway!
I'm not sure what else I'll get for camp decorations, though. It's not something I use when I'm out alone in the woods!

^ You probably already did.. but did you search ebay? Does anyone hula hoop at fests or make hoops?? I don't but I always wanted to try it, haha. I know someone who makes them. And there's a girl on the Infobury site who makes some cool ones too! Check these out - www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6064367

yay!!! I can already tell I am going to love this thread! lol I haven't bought anything yet - I just had a baby in November and am still working on getting the extra weight off (well, as much as I can) before I buy anything new.
I LOVE that billabong dress, it's gorgeous! Unfortunately for me, I can't do strapless, two hungry babies have made sure of that and there's no strapless bra in this world that is going to help my situation! lmao But I've got my eye on some cute halter dresses...
I need a bag as well, I love that patchwork bag. I have a local shop that sells really neat vintage bags so I will definitely have to do some shopping. I also want to get a good pair of sandals - something that will be comfy to wear for the entire time but still cute enough to go with anything I wear. I'm a shoe girl. lol

Yay for hippie fashion! I always recommend www.ballerinagrape.comif you want something very unique for a fest! I'm a hooper, I said in another thread that I think I am going to buy an LED hoop for this fest...I have two other regular hoops one was from etsy and it was a very good deal! hooping.org has a list of tons of available websites that sell hoops, all different designs, shapes and sizes! Anyone else hoop? Oh I also found some great deals on simple dresses at www.ae.com they are nice for wearing a swimsuit top underneath and you can transform them into a skirt when you are hot....double duty always a bonus...I got the white and the blue!

Karma to you because I forgot those sites and I love the Terrapins in your sig! I have a really comfy long green skirt from AE that I always wear, I love how soft the fabric is for their dresses and skirts.
I gotta pratice at hooping/get one because it seems like a really good way to get a work out in, hehe. Plus it looks like so much fun. I saw some really cool ones at a vendor last year that were covered in sweet fabric and corduroy!

Thanks! Oooh courderoy??? I've never seen that but I bet it's nice to hoop with actually! The first time I tried hooping I bought my hoop (41") from tailspinhoops.com...after I got the hang of hooping normally I checked out some tricks on youtube...there are some pretty good tutorials! My friend ended up getting me some dvd's from hoopgirl.com...i have the hularobics and the beginner dvd which shows you all the tricks...but really you can find most of them on the internet the dvd's are kind of pricey. If you are just starting out you def want a 42-41" hoop, you'll be suprised how fast you pick it up and it is great exercise! I'll for sure you let try out my LED hoop when I get one! People kept borrowing my hoops at rothbury last year I had fun showing them how to do it!
